Echo have recently sponsored a local Corby boxer, Simon Barclay boxing at cruiserweight level. He has shown tremendous ability in his bouts and hopes to continue his excellent form in the ABA boxing championship with Echo Personnel backing him all the way.
MOTOR SPORT:
Echo have always had extensive links with motorsport, from competetive karting all the way up to formula renault. With Managing Director, Richard Ellingworth having an active role within the Echo Racing Team, along with drivers James Gormall (Formula Renault)and Ricky Impey (Pickup Racing). Echo hope to invest in sponsorship in 2008 and 2009. Watch this space!

Echo Personnel Ltd have recently sponsored Kettering Town FC on various occasions as they continue their push up the Blue Square Premier League.

Echo's latest sponsorship deal sees them support a local under 7s side who compete aginst other youth sides around the county.
Kingswood Under 17s Football Club
Echo have recently sponsored a youth football team based in
Corby, already associated with the FA and McDonalds youth scheme, they are looking forward to the start of the new season.
Ise Lodge Eagles
Echo sponsored a local youth football team in 2007 called the "Ise

Lodge Eagles" who competed in the junior leagues in Kettering and the surrounding areas.

CYCLING:
Witham Wheelers at Heckington Show
An inter-club challenge between local Go-Ride clubs. Witham Wheelers, Sleaford Wheelers and Spalding CC took up the challenge of finding 6 under 16 riders ready to race on the day. It was a great day for all involved with the Wheelers performing admirably.
Witham Wheelers Manchester Track Day
The Echo Personnel sponsored Witham Wheelers took an opportunity to step into the shoes of the athletes who dominated the cycling circuit in the Beijing Olympics. Taking to the national velodrome in Manchester, members of the club had offical coaching from professional coaches as well as the real experience of track racing ending in some handy advice from Olypic medal winner Vicky Pendleton.
Viking Challenge 2007
Our Branch Manager, Steve Squires recently took part in the

annual Viking Challenge mountain bike race. Riding mainly on bridle paths, tracks and country back lanes, the route covered 51 kilometres, around the Leicestershire countryside in the vale of Belvoir.
This years conditions were a welcome relief to what normally turns out to be a wet and muddy event. Recent dry and mild weather allowed the serious riders to achieve quick times. Steve achieved his best time ever this year with a time of 2 hrs 38
minutes finishing 128th out of 744 starters.
Steve has raised hundreds of pounds over the years, taking part in other events such as Triathlons, runs, swims and walks. This years event raised funds for the fight against Leukemia and he would like to thank everyone, including all his work colleagues at Echo Personnel for their kind donations.
Witham Wheelers
In 2006 Echo became the sponsor of a local Cycling team, the

Witham Wheelers. The team ride in many Northants road races with the teams top rider Jim Coleman winning the Rockingham Forest road race in July.
Jim and other riders compete in other national races around the country.
